I need to draw a graph showing temp vs time.
The temp graph data is in .2 (two tenths)
Graph has to start with 0
Data is between 39 to 44

The graph will start at 0, .2, .4, .6 and then jump to 39, 39.2, etc

On Cadd drawings I've seen that break line (looks like a Z or a squiggly line) to jump the distance.

What is that squiggly line call?

trend line?
data line?
squiggly point to point line?

Excel gives several types of XY and line graphs and choices range from data point to data point or best fit curves.

Thanks, I'll look that up in excel.

I wanted her to know what that line break (squiggly) is call incase her teacher asks her. That line drawn is on the y axis to jump the temp value so her graph will fit on one sheet.

The last time my daughter ploted a graph on excel, she lost points for using a computer. Her teacher wants a hand graph .
