I found the settings here....but no mention of the low end.

Centered?? What does that mean? THis is the little screw that is in-between a fork piece on the carb....right?

So, it doesn;t screw in multiple times??? I am ignorant of this engine...I have a lot of experience with glow and gassers on planks...yup, I am a planker that has been bitten by the heli bug.

Help a ignit' planker out...

No, it's an eccentric cam affair with about 120 degrees or so of total range. Set the needle for the idle to be nice and smooth with no hesitation on spool up or cackle at idle when the engine is hot.

Be a bit more conservative on the high speed to start. Start at 2 turns open and work in from there. The midrange will normally end up somewhere around 1/4 to 1/2 turn open, more likely 1/2 turn. The high speed will likely be right around 1 1/2 open.

Remember to needle with care because the C-Spec is utterly intolerant of anything but brief periods of excessively lean running.

Thank You

She flew well at those settings....

Maiden flight, IN A SNOWSTORM!!!!

I spent a lot of time getting her square and straight, set up right, a lot head scratching and caffeine.

Deadnuts , straight and level , 1 click aileron , ..Gyro perfect, GV 1 spot on, P/T curves right in non-gov,

Fired right up and it had perfect idle, snappy response, although, in the snowstorm , all i did was one or two pop-ups, and figure eights.

I made sure she was sloppy rich.

Can't wait to get to the fusealage... and maybe a gasser conversion down the road.
