headspeed

I've had it at 1900 with the bearings glued [ca] to the grips. Like you, I feel better at 1850 [idle up 1]. I wouldn't mind a higher speed but would prefer that along with metal grips. I wonder what head speed Kyle Stacy was running.

I'm running 1750 in normal, 1850 in Idle 1, and 1910 in Idle 2. I've had absolutely no problems at 1910. I was under the impression that 1900 to 2000 wasn't an issue. Am I fooling myself?

I've gone as high as 1950 without problems but like to fly at 1850. The multigov keeps her spot on!!

i knocked my multigov up to 1950 and it flew very nice... i also tried 2000 and it was crazy but i could do everything at 1950 so i just stayed there.

I run 1950 with no problems whatsoever.
It flips pretty quick at that headspeed.

2000 and 2100 most of the season...no issues.

I always take-off at 1750 and land at that unless auto-ing.

SWE and vBlades.

I do CA the bearings into the grips, keep the grip bearings greased and run JBs 88 durometer dampers.

I say that typical flight is at 2000 for 8+ minutes...once I get "warmed-up" I'll fly a flight or 2 at 2100 to really smack it around.

lotta ins, lotta outs

I run 2010 headspeed and have no issues. Im not easy on my Pantera it is a tough machine. Unless John tells me otherwise I see no issues with 2100. But I see no need I run 10.5 degrees of pitch and it will not bog out.

ENGAGE!!

Between 2000 and 2100. The motor and pipe like that speed. The heli didn't seem to mind either.

I ran 2050 on mine, that puts the engine right in the peak of the powerband, and really makes the Pantera fly great.
