Being a Pantera owner like most of you guys on this forum, I am always looking for ways to improve the performance of a nice flying heli. Unfortunately for all of us, not enough of these helis have been sold to entice an after market manufacturer to make "bling" for us.

Along comes Quick UK !!! I have a Raptor 80 "Quicked UKed" out and the machine is incredible. The quality of Quick UK parts is beyond anything out there.

I have been in contact with Quick UK and asked them to consider making some head parts for my Pantera. They do have some interest and have asked what type of response they might receive from Pantera owners.

Here's our chance to get a top shelf after market manufacturer on the Pantera bandwagon.

Lets hear from the rest of you. How many people would be interested in seeing Quick UK be the first to offer bling for our P50's?

A metal washout hub would be nice. I don't know if the Scedeau Evo hub would work but it looks very similar in design.

John has done some of the parts - swash and seesaw arms. I'm sure he will be working on more as well. You can also look at the RJX stuff as most of that will work to the best of my knowledge.

I like bling too, so the more aftermarket guys there are making stuff the happier I'll be. Right now I like the way my Pantera flies and I'll stick to the stock parts until I have some extra cash to just throw at aesthetics.

Cheers, Shayne

metal parts

Michael,

I agree. JB does a great job of engineering his machines, but there is only so much one man can do. Bringing in an after market company like Quick UK will help everyone. It will probably stimulate more Pantera sales to boot.

Addicted to Bling

Well there you go !!!! You had to bring up that addiction issue. I just finally had myself convinced that bling was one of the basic necessities of flying helis.

I have a few stock Evo washouts, I havn't used them on the Tiger/Pantera yet but they are similar, a bit shorter which is good, the only glitch is the guide pins are wider (on the Evo), so a little dremel work would fix that.

If it's gonna happen it'll happen up there!

QuickUK makes a drop in swash...

It's the one for the Robbe Ornith which happens to be the Panteras' sister ship...

Robbe swash

Hootowl,

When I discussed the Pantera with Bud at quick uk, he indicated it looked very similar to the Robbe Ornith. I sent one of my heads to him to see what else he'll be interested in making.

I would really like a complete UK head on my Pantera 50. The one on my Rappy 80 rocks. The quality is off the charts.

The QuickUK Robbie swash is a direct fit. I know, I flew with it on a Tiger50 way back when I first got into 50s.

The Robbie Ornith, JR Venture and the Tiger50 are very similar. They are manufactured by Hyundai. JB has some agreement with Hyundai to customize parts for his company.

That's why the Ornith swash works... most of the head geometry is the same and many parts are interchangeable.

All QuickUK needs to do is add the Tiger50 and I imagine the Pantera50 to it's application listing.

Hootowls Metal head

Mike,

Quick UK only makes the swash for the ornith. Where did you get the rest of the metal parts for your Tiger?

I'm from the uk and would love to try a pantera, The only problem is the person J B chose to import it over here, Dave Wilshire

If say Andy from Real raptors sold the pantera i know for a fact J B would sell loads over here and maybe tempt Budd from Quick Uk into producing his finest parts
