Man, I don't know what brought it up today at work, but I remembered the 80's show Fraggle Rock. I gotta admit, I loved the show, but I was kinda young at the time. I don't remember much, but what I do remember was that they called going outside, "going to outer space".

Oh, and Red....I had a crush on her.....I thought she was hot!

Heres a link to view the intro.............

The dozers were a real hoot, didn't the fraggles always screw up their construction or eat it or something?

Yah I thought that was what it was. You sure the dozers wanted em to eat their constructions? I always remember them being kinda peeved when it happened. Wasn't there one specific fraggle who wreaked havoc on the poor lil dozers more often than the rest?

I was more of a He-Man, Voltron, Transformers, Thundercats kid, the fraggles were around pretty big and we watched em, they just didn't hold as much of my attention.

episode with convincing john

he was asked by another fraggle to convince others not to eat dozer constructions any more. The fraggle thought it was wrong. The dozers were wondering why they weren't eating them any more. they felt bad and was getting ready to leave when convincing john was asked to convince fraggles to eat the dozer constructions again. The dozers became happy again and they stayed. Also, another time, two different colored dozers, one red, one yellow, (ketchup and mustard), thought their flavor was better than the other, so they stopped working together. the fraggles didn't like the taste of the seperate structures and the dozers discovered this and went back to working together to make the structures.

Man, I miss the eighties.

Dance your cares away! Working's for another day!

I loved that show. Watched it religiously when I was younger. I actually have the first season in MPG's on my PC at home..

I started watching it when it premiered on HBO in 83 (I was 4yrs old) I think it ran till 87..

I hear they're actually working on a fraggle rock movie due out in a couple years.. nice.

Greetings,

My wife and I both grew up on the Fraggles. We have season one on DVD and our 2yr old is starting to get into them. He has a word for the Fraggles but I cannot figure out how to type it.
