Hello All

What do you guys think about using the A40-10L on the flybarless L600 on 10s? This motor looks good to me because it has a 5mm shaft so I can use the included counter bearing and its also 120 bucks.

All I know is my Tango 45-7 is stupid powerful on my flybarless Logo 14 and the motor weighs about 50g less than the Hacker...I figure this 40-10L should be enough motor.

LMK what you guys think

Carlos I think you'll exceed the rpm limit with that one on 10S, the A50-14 series is more the 10S Hacker motor.

...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...

Its slightly over the RPM limit when the pack are loaded, or should be. There is also the 500Kv verson which is closer to the A50.

Ideally Id love the A50 but the motor shaft is 6mm...I dont get why mikado didnt just include a 6mm id bearing in the darn counter bearing kit??? Heck it was them doing all the motor shaft flex research you figure they would support the thicker shafted motors...

As of now the A50-14s is the primary choice but heck if I can save 60 bucks and get very similar preformance out of the A40-XXL motor and get to use the counter bearing would be nice.

Their standpoint on the counterbearing is the 6mm shaft is stiff enough the counterbearing is not needed. This is specifically what I was told when I asked this very question of your concern.

I haven't cracked my counter bearing out of the bag yet Shawn. I didn't see any flex in the mount with the ORK. Are you seeing movement with the Actro?

I told you it was the future........
