I just bought a belt cp. Need to know what battery and charger to buy. Its the one on heli directs site for 129. I will also need a better gyro. Do you all think the gyro that comes with it, will be good enough for forward flight? I have flown before but it has been a long time. I cant wait. thanks for the assistance.

battreies and chargers:
http://www.fmadirect.com
Im about to order my first battery from them but I love there charger cellpro4s great balance charger for a steal.

Gyro:
Yes the esky rate gyro is fine for FF. But If you got the cash buy a good HH your memory of flight will be at least twice as fast. Theres no reason with todays technology to even sell a rate gyro. $50 for a cheap HH but go ahead and spend $50 more for a good one you'll have forever.

LOGITEC 2100T seems to be a favorite me Im stuck on futaba

funny you should ask that I have the HDX300 3800rpm motor and a megapower 1350mah in the HBK2 same heli little smaller 300 size its a good battery and cheap but takes a $10 adapter with the cellpro charger to charge it so not so cheap after alla nd only gets 6 1/2 minutes. I just ordered a few minutes ago the 2100mah N series from FMAdirect so I will be the guinea pig to tell how it works although people have flown the 2100mah packs in the HBK2 they may be a bit heavy but for 3D in a belt cp I would go with nothing smaller than 2100mah. My heli flying weight with 1350mah pack is only 1.1 pounds. And as far as 10-15minutes your dreaming if you get that much your abusing the batteries. 7 1/2 is all I get out of my HBK2 and thats slowly killing the pack. And If your new 6 or 7 minutes will be long enough for you anyway
