Assan 2.4 ghz stuff??? Is it as good as Spektrum or Futaba
anyone have any idea sold on unitedhobbies but no info on it
so anyone used it

Excuse the reply to an old thread - but I've been flying Assan 2.4 GHz stuff in both helis and planks for several months - with absolutely ZERO problems (that's at our club field, with other 2.4 radios running at the same time). No glitches, no 'unbinding', nothing. I'm sold on them. I'm looking for more receivers. (OTOH, I've seen Spectrum stuff that's kinda slow to start up, even when already bound to the transmitter.)
The only complaint I have is that the transmit module antenna is pretty wimpy mechanically - it mounts on an internal circuit card, and seems like it'd break something inside if you set the transmitter down on it. I've added some support 'screws' to the back of my transmitter as a guard. Eventually, when I can switch to "all Assan", I will switch the antenna to one with a cable / one that mounts in place of the 72 MHz antenna. That combination should stick out less.
