Anyone seen or used this regulator? Comes with 2input leads and 2 output leads for higher amp draw and comes with a pretty big heatsink. Looks pretty well thought out. Wonder if it works?

Has anyone even seen this thing before? I was just wondering if it will work in our vibration prone heli environment.

I went ahead and got one for about 20USD. I figure that if I can't use it in the heli, at least it should work for a large plank.

Dual input and output for 8-10A of output. Adjustable voltage output from 4+v to 6v. Failsafe switch that comes with the package but is not a must for normal operation. Build quality wise it pretty solid and at least the wire joints appear to be goop. It is pretty heavy though. Listed as 60g with the switch which I believe is pretty true because it weights the same as my FP evo-rx 1320mah pack.

All I want to know is...can I trust this thing?

Ive been using one with no dramas. About 50 flights in a 600N. This reg holds the voltage shown on a 611 gyro amp at bang on 6v, even when binding all the servos. I use a 2200 mah 25c 2s for power.
Cheers CHRIS.

glad to know it has been holding up for you. Now at least I feel more confident about it.

I went ahead to use it on my raptor last weekend because I couldn't find anyone who has used this regulator. Only 5flights so far but it is working good.

Hi zyklon,

Put it last week on my Raptor SE50 with a 2700mAh 2 cell lipo.

Only used 1 set of wires to the batt and to the receiver. I have all digital servos and 401 9254. I set the output voltage to 5.3 volts exactly. Took it easy on the first tank and then had a second flight with mild 3D and aerobatics. All went well. Back home I charged the lipo and found out it needed 510 mAh to full. This means roughly 8 tanks of safe flying!! I am very pleased. I will be flying it more this weekend.
