I have 2 of the gf and love them. I will say the frames are a little flexable. Carbon will be stiffer

I did not like the GF at first but they have grown on me. I think they look better than the CF and are much cheeper. There is not much advantage getting carbon fiber over fiberglass. They both brake and the GF is half the cost.

and I'll 3rd that too.

I have the Sport with GF frames I believe no matter what kind of frames you have, if you dig it in hard it don't matter. I'd rather replace a part at half the cost if I can, and using the GF frames I can.

I too actually like the look of the GF better over the CF frames.

Glass fiber.

I agonized a few minutes over the decision. Either CF or GF will fail catastrophically whereas bent aluminum can go undetected and throw off the frame geometry. I finally went with CF, though know I would have been happy with either.

Here's a picture of the frame:

It would be a natural fiberglass color, I believe, without gelcoat, though I would think you could paint it if you wanted then clean up the holes with the appropriate drill sizes.
