Ouch, been there done that. I sold a 69 Cougar Eliminator that I had for 10 years and restored completely. 428 SCJ with a 4 speed and 390 locker rear. A 250 hp Fogger nitrous system to boot. I was getting married and thought I should be responsible and sell it.

Now the wife is engaged to our fomer neighbor who is also a divorce attorney and I'm relocated to east Bumble*uck with nothing more than the clothes I wear. Ironic over all.

Camp,, my friend had a 69 Mach 1 428 SCJ, his Dad bought it for him in 1979 for only $750 (yeea only $750 !!), it was in perfect shape, the guy that sold it did not know what it was other than a fast Mustang, he sold the car to my friend because it was to much car for him, I drove the car many many times, as fast as that car was it wasn't as fast as my 71 Nova ,, my friend sold the car some 5 years later for $3000 because he needed quick money for a lifted Chevy truck he was building..

It's amazing how many awesome cars we've gotten rid of for one reason or another. If only I could get this time machine to work...
