What is the difference between the Z power a series and the Z-Power Z30A-1100 Outrunner (w/fan).
Are they the same does the red one have the fan built in?

Some of the older red motors were not the "A" series. Some of the older "A" series motors were red though. Make sure you check to see if it is an "A" series as they have a redesigned core that runs much cooler....Ron

All Z-Power motors have always had a fan, like laughingstill said the older or first design motors ran a little warmer than the newer "A" motors with a different core. There has been a lot of discussion about whether or not any of the RED caned Z-Motors are the "A" design, but I would venture to say they all do now. FlyHuge here on RR bought a Z50-600 from Infinity Hobby and probably had time to get it installed, so you might PM him and see what kind of temps its running. If it is a "A" model it should run about 30 to 40°F above ambient doing somewhat hard 3D flying in a 5 minute or so flight.

Z Power Z10A 3000kv + QUARK 33 = Good or Bad??

I have several cutoff that results in my crashes with my old combination of QUARK 33 + Align 430L motor.

I personally think that this is a very bad combo as both the ESC and the motor gets very hot after flight despite no binding and a linear throttle curve and a good pitch setting to prevent overloading of motor.

I have just purchase a Z Power 10A 3000kV motor and wondondering whether is it a good combination with my QUARK 33 esc?

Running the Z30 motor you should at least have a 60 amp ESC..
That 33 amp Quark you have is not enough ESC for that motor...

SOrry guys, what I mean was Z10A.

I have fitted the Z30A and it is fantastic no more steaming motors this runs cool even after putting the 600E through a very very hard time.

i am very pleased with the performance i haven't checked the head speed yet but it feels a little faster than the old motor 2200 ish.
