I'm building another rex se v1 with micro heli thrust bearing main grips & I was thinking of running the blade grip links on the leading edge. Anyone have input on this ? Good-Bad.

Thanks
Joe

It's been done, I don't think the results are worth the effort.

I found the grip flip to rid the transitional delay from inverted to upright visa versa. It was very un nerving.

I recently did and it eliminated the transitional delay TomRex mentioned. Be prepared to flip more than just the grips unless you plan on using longer bolts to extend the balls on the grips over.

Joe - check out Ray's authoritative DVD's. He does it and explains why and how to.

Hi hookmaker -
How did you like the DVD's are they worth-while for someone that has been around for a while. Thanks
.

If the wings are traveling faster than the fuselage, it's probably a helicopter.

Well, I'm still a rookie, but getting along. I've got all RAY's DVDs and just love them! They are very intuitive and I've learned a lot. All my helis (8) now have that "extra frosting on the cake" that Ray teaches.

For someone who really wants to learn how it all works and some theory behind the flying and how to add that extra little dimension of a perfectly setup machine, I think this is the DVD's to watch.
