We have 8 600 nitro's using the plastic grips at 2100 with no problems. You will have a problem if you use the electric grips like
creightoncarr did.

Electric or not, the part number for the grips I was using was the same as the part number in the manual that came with my 600N. Yes, the grips have changed since the 600E was first released, but the current electric grips are still the same as the nitros. According to Align's web page the current version of the grips is H60003-2. Most of the shops still list H60003-1. I don't know what the difference is. Like I said, I prefer the way my heli flew with the plastic grips. I personally, however, am not willing to take the risk using the Align plastic grips again. It's not worth risking the helicopter or my safety or that of others around me. I don't care if 100 other guys at my field were still using the plastic grips. It just takes one. Align obviously is still working out the kinks in the grip design or there wouldn't be so many changes in such a short period of time. I just don't think it's worth taking the chance.
