I just bought a Synergy with a YS and was looking for opinion on blades. I am debating on Curtis 710 stick bangers or regular 690. What are you guys using?

i was happy with the 710sb

but am currently running the 710 rotortechs with good results.

for your motor, i would set higher idle up hs to no more than 1820.

tailor pitch and cyclic to your preferences.

you'll like the heli. i'm fairly close, if i can help, i'd be happy to assist.

regards,

hans

Thanks for the help. I hope I like this heli. I love my 600N and sold my avant EFX to fund another 600N. But I think I will give a 90 another try.

I agree on the regular Radix 710's as opposed to the SB's. I've got the SB's on right no and I prefer the regulars. With my flying I don't notice that the SB's perform any better and the auto performance on the regulars is better.

i just ordered a set of MAH 690s i have been flying with Vblades TST 710 and then with TT710 the TTs seem to be more responsive than the Vs and the TTs auto much better, so next will try the MAH 690. this is one BA heli.

Geez I hope you are not talking about the new MAH G3's?

I couple of us flew the Radix, Radix Stick Bangers, and MAH G3’s back to back and found that the G3’s performance characteristics were right in the middle between the Radix and Stick Bangers (i.e. more aggressive than the Radix but not as much as the Stick Bangers).

just my opinion, of course.

G3's are fine, nice stiff blade, don't tell too many people about them though, we'll keep it our little secret

Ray Baby,

Good to hear from you.

Hopefully we will have some nice weather over the next couple of weeks as we want to come down for the day.

Hey man, I don't know what you are talking.

710's would be better than the 690 but I can still do inverted autos with the 690's I just like them more for 3d flying. if autoing is your thing get the 710's
