can I charge a 7.4v Li-on battery on a TP1010C charger?

Sure. You'll need to get or make a connector. I'm still trying to figure out what to do with the 3-pin balancer connector that comes out of the lipo though.

You will plug a balancer into the 3-pin connector.
I was under the impression that you shouldn't charge Li-Ions with the 1010... I'm not sure though. Maybe someone with experience could come in this one?

You can charge Liions or Lipos on the 1010c. LiIons have the same voltage as Lipos now (they used to be slightly lower), so you just plug it in and charge at 1c, same as a Lipo. Even the older ones with the lower voltage could be charged on a Lipo charger safely, they were not sensitive to the small overvoltage that would result.
