In my model making course we had to design and prototype a non-working teapot. Here are pictures of my design. I got a ton of compliments, and I am very proud. We started this project 6 weeks ago. I started with a hand carved foam model. Then, I vacuum formed molds from the foam. After that, I used Insta-Cast to make a resin copy. I sanded and Bondo'ed the resin model so I could prime it and then paint and clearcoat with an HVLP automotive gun. The grip is 550 cord. In theory, the design works by the large black area being a swivel door (like some trashcan lids). You can then pour water in and out via the same opening. Yes it looks "water-foul-ish". :-)
