Mort from Just Canopies asked me to let everyone know that he is in the Hospital with leg circulation trouble at the moment so If you can't get a hold of him this is why. Please be understanding and he will get back to ya as soon as he is able to when he gets out ok. There isn't any internet access available to him at the Hospital at this time so he can't reply to anyone till he does get home. He gave me his friend (we went to school together and started flying helis together) a call tonight and asked me to put up this info on RR so everyone wouldn't think he's dissapeared on all of you.

Thanks,
Tom

Haven't heard from him today.

Mort is a kind of keep to himself guy. He and I went to school together and got into helis together back in the early 90's was getting good quickly and seemed to pick it up naturally same with computors. He painted a canopy one day and showed it to us and he did it from the INSIDE and BACKWARDS to make it look right and because it was lexan you didn't have to clear coat it. It was wild looking space type stuff like the car guys were doing at the time so we realized he had talent and patience so we encouraged him to get into painting them for a living. Been doing it since then. HE IS A STICKLER so if you loose patience waiting for him it's a mistake as he don't like mistakes and sometimes he gets other peoples painted canopies from other painters and is asked to fix the drips and blemishes. Be kind and patience with him and you won't be dissatisfied with it. He stays up working most all night most times!! Needs to take better care of himself instead of thinking of others and wanting to get their canopies out to them and that is his undoing. This has happened to him once before a couple of years ago too. He also lost his Dad a couple years ago and you know it all takes it's toll on your psyche after a while.

Sorry to hear this news. I am also waiting for a canapy from him and had not been able to get hold of him. I wish him a speedy recovery and tell him hi for me when you see him or talk to him.

I know from talking to him when I bought a canopy from him earlier this year that he works too much. The canopy turned out great.

Hope he gets better soon.

Tell Mort that I wish him a speedy recovery and that his health is the first concern. I too have ordered a canopy, but get well soon.

Best Regards,

Helinut

Mort´s Leg

Interesting post on Mort.
I hope his leg circulation trouble is getting better, but I ask how are his money circulation troubles?. Either he´s got one hell of a medical insurance or else he´s a millonair!. That long in hospital in the US must cost a fortune; good job we put the money up-front or he´d be up-****-creek-without-a-paddle!.
You say he´s a keep to himself guy - that seems to extend to our money which he certanly keeps to himself (maybe to pay the insurance??). If he doesn´t like mistakes then just return the money and everything will be fine.
Sorry to hear about his dad, I lost mine some years ago too.
