No, you'll need the clutch to go with the bell.

MA glow model clutch history:

1) Original one piece bolt on clutch for the XC 50 and 60

2) Two piece self aligning clutch for the XC 30

3) One piece self aligning clutch for the XC 30

4) Uniball clutch for the XC 60. This used the original 10 t press in pinion bell BUT stayed the same for the screw in pinion 60 (SE 99)sized bell when that part was released in 1999. This is the clutch to use with the eBay bell assembly.

5) H/D clutch for the XC46. The clutch is unique for the red bell ONLY. It will NOT work with the bell in the eBay ad.

6) Standard clutch from the original Fury. Use the same bell as the one in the eBay pic and a same overall sized driver clutch as the original 60 and current uniball 60 clutch. No applicability for any non-Fury/Stratus model.

7) Updated H/D clutch for the Fury/Stratus/Spectra G ONLY. Uses a new bell that is unique and specific for that clutch only.

If you are going to run an 11 t pinion in THAT XC46 model, then you MUST use the SE '99 sixty sized bell AND the matching uniball clutch, period. That is unless you have access to some serious lathe and tap resources to thread precisely that XC 46 bell for the threaded 11 tooth pinion.

Let's see if we can find you a 95 t or 96 t black maingear. Check Ebay. That will put you exactly where you need to be. 8.18 is perfectly safe for your engine as long as you are careful about overheating, but it's going to load it pretty hard. You'll have to run a high head speed in excess of 2K rpm to get the engine into its powerband. Try posting a sep WTB post for a black 65 or 96 t maingear. I may have the clutch bearing block you need for that bell; I'll check. I may have a gear, too.

the 95 will give you 8.6 and the 96 will give you 8.72 with the 11 tooth pinion. never ran a 50 on 8:18 so i dont know how that would go but i think it will load the motor and run hot. most 50's on the market are in the 8:5 to 8:7 range. 8:5 will get you a higher head speed. also you may want to invest in the white delrin gears as they are way stronger than the black plastic gears and with the right mesh they will last a lifetime. also pinion, bell and clutch are on the way to you. hope you can get it to work.

Good info.....

Kevin thinks he has got a gear already at the house as he will check on it tonight. After all this gets said and done I sure hope this old bird can handle the power.

Hmmmmmmmmm.....

Let's see the pic. MA has never color anodized their fans. Maybe a Bergen product.

The drivetrain will easily handle the power.
