I just got back from ball field had a great time doing FF figure 8's 15-20ft off ground. I still fly close in no more than 50ft away cant get used to big sky. Anyway I was flying in idleup I need more speed it was a little windy up high and I lost it. The heli started backing up Now Im nose in 25ft high and 80-90ft away and freakin out. I'm about to give up and dump it but then I wont have a heli no more IM getting freakin hysterical. I give myself a mental slap in the face and remembered from my plane days altitude will save you. So I give full pitch 60 or 70 ft up now and nosing forward remembering left is right and vice versa. I was quite impressed with myself flying through this minute or two of unintentional nose in. WITH NO CASUALTIES.

I HAVE THE NEED FOR SPEED

Just set my Idleup to
95,90,85,90,95
Don't know why just scared to go 100%.
I believe my old setting was holding me back 80-75-65-75-80.I never thought going idleup would be this difficult I guess I got to used to normal mode.

Ok I just reset my radio I got 5 points so I went.
100,95,90,95,100 and I got 8.5 to 9 degree pitch.
I guess this makes sense I have struggled so much to get out of normal mode. Ill just start with the most for Idleup and be finished.

Cant wait to try it.

Once you get used to the higher headspeed and quick response your going to really enjoy it... I set my idleup2 to 100 straight across the board, I don't use it all the time, but when I want it, it's there.. It still gives me a chill when the motor is just screaming and the heli does jump when I tell it too..... Crank it up you know you want tooooooooo......

Tom..... No "D" flying....
