The jet-pack has been around since the 1960's and to this day it can only carry enough fuel for 30 seconds of flight. The mansize CO-AX seems like something that could possibly carry enough fuel for much longer flights. It may also fall under the ultralight category were you don't need a pilots license, Looks fun but I prefer my feet firmly planted on the ground!!
P.S. With the current advancements in LI-PO technology its possible within a year or two someone could use big-ass bats to power something like that, it would expensive!11 $$$$$$$$$$$$$$
