13' is as big as I want to fly.

Having crashed an Axe CP in my living room and scaring the c54p out of my wife, I'm only flying an EP100.

Anyone care to weigh in on this winteresk topic?

I fly circuits and figure 8's in my lounge with my Blade cx2. Sounds like i have a big lounge but no, it's only 15ftx12ft!!! Hit the tv a few times and once the wife opened the door from the kitchen and wiped me out but it's all good fun. The latest problem is the dog keeps jumping up trying to catch it in her teeth!!

Dang 13 feet is a big bird to fly indoors, you must live in a gym!

Me and my buddy learned to fly on a couple BCP's in his garage two years ago in the middle of winter. I'd say we made around 500 flights and many trips to the LHS for parts/blades. Lots of fun those things.

Please don't mention the Raptor 90 in the room video!! OOPS DAmn!

To me - the whole idea of flying indoors is the FLYING part, not hovering, that's why I'm waiting for my Walkera 5-6 to get fixed. The smaller the heli - the "bigger" the flying area. I may get one of those 4-3's for true indoor heli poerformance until someone markets a CP heli the same size.

However, I'm waiting for the JP Skylifter to come out - a co-axial Chinook! Yes, I'll have to hire out the village hall again, but it looks far too cool to miss out on.

My Bro and I fly the 450's all the time in the garage. But we stay away from the house as the dog is not predictable. (neither are the kids!)

That skylifter looks like it could be a lot of fun. Not normally into the contra blade stuff but the cx2 is good fun so the chinook can only be more fun!! When do they come out?

My LHS is apparently getting their demo model in 2 days time. They have been told that the Chinook will ship in time for Christmas.
