Has anyone else noticed the total disappearance of 68mm carbon tail rotor blades. I can't find any except in Europe.

I've used the robbe 68mm plastic blades (very nice and a good air foil) which were for the eolo. Got mine at Rchover.com but they're also out of stock... Anyway, that's another option and others might have them. Tom

I'm trying to find some blades as well. It's kind of scary because it seems like the Lepton is slowly phasing out; especially with the debut of the T500 slowly looming in. I checked HeliProz and their lepton kits are in the clearance section. ReadyHeli had Lepton Kits on sale yesterday for their "Black Monday". They don't even sell MAH blades anymore. People just don't seem to be buying these helis in the USA. I think it is more popular in Asia and Europe. I hope parts availability for this bird doesn't diminish.

I heard K & B designs are offering plastic 68's but I have not seen them yet.

Many have been using trimmed down Shuttle blades as well.

The MAH tail blade deal is interesting as the pair I received did not have MAH on there and further discussions did not show any were available thru MAH. Also when I tried the ones I did get, there was nothing special about them. My trimmed down Shuttle blades worked just as well if not better.

I spoke with Heliproz and that is in there by mistake. They are not "clearancing" any kits or dropping them. That is supposed to change.

It was nice of Readyheli to offer them for a Black Monday sale special. At least they were offered. With so many choices it is hard to offer them all today.

Readyheli, for example, orders Lepton parts regularly and the series is not being phased out here or at Hirobo. We are also still stocking and restocking parts monthly, so no worries there.

For some out there, it is a pricey kit. Those that own them, enjoy them. Talk is there may be a economy version still coming, but without any concrete details, there is really nothing else to say. So we all have to wait and see and for now it is the EX version.

MAH blades are also still available, including the 425's at many stores including Readyheli. While he may not show in stock or have them in stock at any given time, he has access to them. Other stores also order them regularly and stock them. If you need to find them, let me know. I'll point you in the direction.

Hope that answers it for you guys. Hopefully things will change and more 68mm carbon blades will show back up. I know Readyheli had some real nice ones at one time that worked well. Did you check and see if he had any?

Thanks for the posting and comments. Let me know if I can help in any way. If you ever have trouble finding our stuff, give me a shout, we will send you to a stocking dealer or help you ourselves. There is always an avenue.

Hi, regarding the MAH carbon tail blades, did you receive the tapered type design or the more conventional shaped ones?
Eric.

Hi Jeff, thanks for taking the time to give me some assurance of my investment and future investments on this heli. It really is a beautiful heli and I like it a lot. I was under the assumption that Readyheli didn't sell MAH's anymore because I couldn't find it on their website. They still have a picture of MAH blades, but their inventory doesn't even show them carrying the brand. I only saw RotorTechs for the Lepton. I don't recall seeing any 68mm tailblades either. I'm planning on getting the stretch kit and spinning 425mm mains; maybe I'll just try the 64mm blades. We'll see how that goes. Again thanks for the input.
