check out raydiowarm (it is raydio not radio)

the real trick is keeping warm when you take your hands out

King Kong Hobbies (763-390-0490) has the raydio warm. I like it because it's a tray/box rather than a bag. Helps to keep the top of the mitt off the sticks.

I got a pretty nice mitt made by NewHeli, right here on RR for $25.
Not sure if he's making them again, but you can PM for details.

Winter flying tip: Use the buddy system!
Fuel up and check everything out first, then allow your hands to warm up in front of the fire/gloves/car/whatever. Then have your buddy start the heli and even carry it out for you so the pilots hands can stay warm. Then just do the same while they're flying.

It's nice to live at a place that even during the coldest winter days, the temp during the day is in the mid 50's

I used a Radiowarm, but it required some mods to hold the Tx firm and prevent the window from flexing down which could be a potential disaster when farting about with starting the heli. With a couple of handwarmers in there, it got a bit sweaty and steamed up.
