I have just purchased Phoenix Simulator.
I have a JR 9303 radio and the calibration does not seem to be working.
#1. Throttle only comes in above 1/2 stick.
#2. Raptor 30/50 helis dont have any inverted climb out power.
#3. What is the proper way to set up the idle ups? Do you flip this switch during calibration?(none of the bars move) Am I supposed to make the "V" curve ex. 100-0-100 for idle up in my transmitter or dose the software take care of this?

I have tx in ppm mode with 1-servo controlling pitch.

Do you have your radio set to airplane or helicopter?

You need to have it set on airplane...

It can be on Helli but you need to have it set to 1 servo setting on the 9303.
Calibrate in normal mode with a linear curve using the advanced option. Your Idol up throttle curve should be 100 50 100.
The Raptor 30/50 don't have enough negative in the settings. You will have to make a copy and add something like -9 for that Helli.

Opps my bad, yea I ment 100-50-100 for idle up
But why would I have to make a copy of heli, and modify it?
Shouldent it be set up allready?

The Raptor 50 3D models are set up for 3D, the Raptor 50 and 30 standard are set up for beginners with +9, and like -4 pitch. If you go to the top where the menu buttons are and click view/show flight info, you will see on the right side of the screen your pitch settings during collective movement.

To edit them though all you have to do is go into Simulation/Edit Aircraft/Main Rotor, and set the max, mid, min pitch settings.

ahh one more post.. hehe I normally fly the Raptor503D downloaded from the Phoenix website, but when I want a helicopter that flies more like the one I own I usually go with the Raptor 50 Sport and adjust the pitch settings to -10,0,+10

Thanks Raptor3DPilot,
Helicopters are now flying good.

Found one more problem. With the Tilt-Rotor- it spools up to 1/2 stick just fine, then the throttle drops off. I checked in the setup page and throttle and pitch settings all look good.
Just curious if your simulator worked right off the bat.
