Greetings All,

Is there any comments on this Turbine PRO or CON?

Being new to this I want a scale prodject that will turn a 4 blade head I have been leaning tword the PowerCat with this eng as it is a pretty good drop in for the EC 145 fuse from Vario.

I know this eng is not going to be as strong or as fuel efficiant as the current 2 stage eng's I am just looking for the best reliability and ease of use that can carry this scale ship around like a Scale ship reliably, Dont need to be doing any aerobatics with it.

Well anyone with feedback on this particular eng good or not good want to chime in with some comments?

Thanks for any feedback in advance

Jeff

Hi Jonesjj , you can't go wrong with either of the two , for me Pht3 is a very reliable system , like everything else in life you get the fiddlers , and the don't fix it it working types of flyers.I think both systems have there pro's and con's , you just pick what fits your pocket , and helli , you won't go wrong.

the PHT3 is is in my opinion the best JETCAt turbine they do.

it is relibale, powerful ( it flies a 1/4 scale 2.5 meter blade jetranger)

i have never had any probs with the PHT3, brilliant reliable turbine

Thanks for the feedback, these are positive things to hear. Along with other posts that I have read this seems to be a good combination for a beginer and for what my end goal is.

I love my PHT3.

If you're ultimate goal is scale, it is a plug and play engine for many, many scale kits- especially from Vario.

My thought process here was to get the pod and boom and become framiliar with operations like that first.

Then add the multi blade head to the P&B and get that figired out.

While that is going on be working on the EC 145 fuse so by the following spring I would have the mech installed and have things ready to go.

I think this make good idea to do in stages for me.
