Had a bad crash today and I am going to have to change the TT gear that resides in the aluminum tail housing gear box, thing is I dont know how to get the gear and bearings out, to be clear on this its the gear that runs along the booms axis that the TT shaft goes into in the aluminum tail box, this is the gear and bearings I am going to have to remove and replace. I went through the 600N Align manual I have and it does not show how to do this, it only shows the unit complete and assembled, there is not even a break down photo. Seeking advice on "How to." Thank you ....Jim

use the tube you bust to bang it out, thats how I did mine

yup just need something long enough to push it out after removing the output shaft first.

fwiw..

Gear is a press fit in the bearings..I use a small amount of silicone grease to ease insertion of the new one..Having an arbor press is a plus to remove replace the gear, but not necessary...
