Does the RedWolf on a TREx-450-SE done up as a liberal interpretation of USCG count?

I used to have this one, but the black was too hard to see so I traded it for the red one above.

Landing Gear

Hi All,
I just gotten myself a century Airwolf(50). I am wondering if anyone knew where to purchase a more scale looking landing gear. The stock landing gear really spoils the scale look. Please advise. Thank you

Thank you. I spent a good deal of time planing this out. I researched a lot of photos of the Airwolf and the Bell 222. Then I used photocopied images to make sure I had the right size.

The original model was made using a technical sketch of the console scale to match the phots. I then had to build up each layer one by one until I had the final product. Once complete it was then used to make a mold. I can now produce them for the BIG Airwolf the Bell 230 and it could be used in a Bell 430 however the console is a bit different.

The collective stick has been done much the same way. It has not yet had a mold made but it will soon. Then this too will be available.

As for how long this took I have spent many a long night working on these. I still have a few other parts to make too.

Dear Christopher,
Your work is imspiring. A true master Builder.
I am considering a "standoff" panel for mine. Will be balsa with printed instruments. This is my first attempt at scale and would like to keep it simple.

I almost gave up the building because if all the sanding, sealing, sanding puttying, sanding. etc etc etc but seeing her in the sky...well it made it all worth it
