Doh.loctite and ca all screws on your heli... how tough is a synergy? i flew mine all morning, 5 flights, and it was missing 6 teeth off the crown gear. didnt even know till i landed and was doing a bit of clean up. i have replaced the tail blades 3 times from ground strikes and today it finally took out the gear. only one gear is damaged.awsome heli..hey VIC did you get that thing flying yet? your going to have your hands full with that little heli.more hobby stores should be like Pegasus, that place has everything.

My Dinosaur isn't flying yet. Taking my time relaxing today. I'll install the receiver and ESC in a bit and take it out for a quick test hover.

Its weird, my blades were moving in this picture and they look still. I didnt loctite anything on my heli(except the tail drive gear and a servo gear)

Thanks. I'll go over all of it to make sure it has CA on everthing that needs it before it flys. It "might" be flying by the funfly. I need to shoehorn the servos in, got a carbon rear mount for the tail servo.

Ten minutes of flying the 90 should work out.

Nicely.

no loctite = big crash..a properly torqued screw that is check every flight is good, but requires lots of maint..a little loctite not a gob, will require less checkup and wont come loose, i have over 100 flights on my E heli and never lost a screw.

All I've got to fly right now is the Hacker Rex450, it's a pretty solid heli though.

The 90 dwarfs it.

Flew the Trex today, it was pretty windy! Hope tomorrow is more calm.

Looks like low wind and cool temps tomorrow at SCHC field!

I'll aim to be there around 10am. Hope there's a bigger crowd than the last few weeks

Mitch, you got the JR 8717's right? Those are very nice servos. However, just note that they draw much amp from your RX battery so if you could, exchange the 1350 pack for the 2100 pack or bigger...The 1350 pack will work fine for about 2-3 flights...The 2100 will give you more flights and more reliability.

2100's???? Man, I wish I would at least of gotten a 4000mah pack. Digital servo's draw soo much juice too. I had no idea. My FP 2500mah barily last 3 stupid flights. Whats the whole point of going nitro if you gotta still keeping charging at the field.

on my 90, the 2100 lasts for 4 flights... I just want to save some weight so I don't think that i would get a larger pack.

IMO unless you can do MaDD 3Dz, there no real reason to try to be saving weight. Next chance I get, I'm getting a fat pack to last me all day out in the field on my Nitro.
