mitch, unfortunately everything is going to be very expensive and the best u can probably save is on the shipping and if there is a $25 coupon at some places or something.

the jr8717s will be pretty hard to get the last time i checked. muscle pipe, receiver, rev limited, fromeco or align, they are all pretty much standard parts and some may be hard to get and they are pretty much set prices.

for the starter and such though, i would recommend the thunder tiger starter set. it comes in a neat one brief case type case which carries one gallon fuel, glow driver, glow plug tool, battery, fuel pump, and starter. i wish i would have gotten this b/c of how easy it is. it is heavy though, bc your carrying one gallon fuel, a lead acid battery, starter, etc. but its all in one. its also $100 so its not bad at all.

good luck on getting it

You guys and your nitros. I have decided I am sticking electric. Time and money being the contributing reasons. I was thinking of going nitro for my son's Christmas present but I went electric...

Plus 4 7.2V 1500mAh Stick Standard NiCd batteries. My Triton2 already charges NiCd anyway.

helismith is smarter than the rest of us, stick with E power its simple clean adjustable zero maintenance.. i love my new N9 but the fuel and maintenace are far more than any E heli.i only get 8 flights per gallon @ 7minutes per flight for $23.. 56minutes = $23. my average lipo gets 100 + 5 min. flights @ $270....you do the math.

The math isn't quite that straightforward, airboss. While you're basing that on the cost of a 6S pack, you're never going to fly a 90 on a 6S. If the comparison was electric 50 to nitro 50, and those were the numbers, e-power would win.

But since we're comparing a nitro 90 to an electric 50, a premium must be assumed for the 90. No 50 will ever fly like a high quality 90, no matter its pedigree.

SCHC meeting on Sunday and info.for the December 16th...

Guys, the field has been reserved for this Sunday meeting and for the big FunFly on December 16th. However, weather sucks and the field may be really messy now... Anyways, I will be there this Sunday.

We need to plan for next FunFly. We need to get together to talk about what is going on in the club. So I would like to ask all the club members to get out to the SCHC field this Sunday. We will talk and fly there.

I love nitro stuff although I know that electric is the winner. But not only me, many other people also love nitro and that is how we, nitro guys, are.

Mitch, take your time and rebuild your raptor. Don't be like me man, I've almost ruined my N9a a few times.

Without servos and a pipe, I don't see how it's going to fly. I can't even find a pipe for it.

A list of parts is irrelevant if you can't get them.
