I will measure mine when I get home, but they fit the Radix blades perfectly, actually just a bit snug. You could always use the plastic grips since the head block (I believe) is the same size, making them compatible.

Mine are running about 4.3 to 4.4mm using cheap digital calipers and not dissassembling anything.

Put on new links and dialed down some of the ail/ele/pitch mixing in the CCPM menu. Seems to be working fine so far. If the weather would cheer up I'd be happy do do more "testing"...

The Radix blades have a 4.5mm root.

I want to built another mini titan with all the blings, kasama head, washout, swashplate. Do you think i'll save money getting the complete head outfit, all the metal tail assembly, metal drive pulleys, carbon boom, carbon tail fin, and everything else purchase as spare parts.
i don't want to buy a brand new heli and use it as a donor for all the upgrades. Just seems like a waste.
i bet this will be cheaper and better than the upcomming Mini Titan SE.

Could be. I do know however that it is cheaper to buy the entire Kasama head with TT swash, then to buy all the G-force upgrades seperately with TT swash. About $60.00- $70.00 more for G-force.

oh forget it, i just did some research for the spare parts scratch built. although you do save some money but it's a lot more trouble then its worth. just buy the up grades and the stock airframe. airframe kit only cost $130 shipped, and everything is included in one box.

Does the feathering shaft come with the KASAMA head or do you have to use the one in the MINI TITAN kit?

OK, the spindle is to long and leaves a serious gap between the blade grips and the head. I guess I eed to grind it down.

Hold on, you shouldn't need to... do you have the brass spacers in there and all the bearings, etc arranged properly?

There were no brass spacers in the bag with the kasama head, should I be looking for some that comes with the kit?

Yes, the brass spacers fit between the damper and first bearing on each grip. The narrow portion of the spacer points outward, toward the bearing. These spacers are very important as they prevent the grip from binding against the head block when the dampers squish from flight maneuvers.

As far as the assembly of the head block, spindle, dampers, grips and bearings are concerned, they build just like the OEM head. The flybar system is identical in function to the OEM parts, it just builds a little differently (i.e. the carrier passes through the head block instead of around it, and the flybar cage is two separate arms instead of a hoop). Keep an eye on which side of the Kasama flybar carrier you mount, since there's two mounting options for the Bell/Hiller mixing arms.

Look through the manual and build the main part of the head accordingly, just substitute the Kasama parts where applicable.

2 Mini Titans with Kasama heads, love them both. If you have all the parts the Kasama head needs no modifictions to work beautifully on your Mini T

Well Efrog, you and Wheelhaus pray for me because I have little patience with a task like this and grandchildren tugging at my shirt tails. If I had some sort of insurance that the two of you were at my becon call on the computer, the praying would not be necessary.
I appreciate the help from the both of you.

OK, I had some time to work on this TITAN and the woodies that came with this thing will not fit the kasama head. I glued the blade grips on. Now I need a good set of blades to put on this thing. Any recommendations, I don't do 3D yet.
