![]() rrElite Veteran Macomb,Mi | Yeah .I knew it needed a new ring cause she was low on compression from the guy I got it from but yesterday the bottom plug came out of my tune pipe and finished it.I put a plug back in today and JB welded the crap out of it hoping to get a few flight in but half way through the tank I landed to check the temp and it was at 202F so I richened it another 2 turns just to finished what I had left and had my buddys GF record that last part.I just finished pulling the whole motor apart and everything is perfect but the ring so im buying a new ring and piston tomorrow then I know everything is new cause when I got the heli the bearings were bad so I replaced them hoping the ring would get me through the summer

wings19 rrKey Veteran Tucson, AZ | Official start time is 10AM. It ends when we run out of fuel/parts/helis.Concessions will probably be available, still working out the details. There is a possibility of a couple Futaba/Align/Synergy sponsored pilots making it up for the fun fly, again, no promises... I am still working that out also. I am going to see about a visit from the USCG again also.It will be held at the Rennie School Rd. field just south of Traverse City. Rennie Field is located 6 miles south of downtown Traverse City on the north side of Rennie School road just west of U.S. 31/M37 with two 500' x 50' runways running North/South and East/West.Bring the family up and enjoy beautiful Traverse City for the weekend! There is plenty of shopping, beaches, and lodging available!PASS THE WORD!

liquidlogic rrApprentice Traverse City, MI- USA | Hey least I can still get it up oldmanarotor, only thing i see you flyin is your mouth............ Oooooooooooo Snap!Would all the weight of a CSM gyro given me enough centrifugal force to make it thru the tree unscathed? Or would Sirrus servos inaccuracy have put me far enough off track I wouldn't have hit it?I'm open to suggestionsKeep the blades spinnin and the beavers grinnin- Burt Renolds (1977)
