Has anyone made the 2.4 modules permanent?

Has anyone made the 2.4 modules permanent? I know about the photo shop pic that was around here, but I want to do it for real on my 10X. What would happen if I ran the wire out of the top of the module, up to the bottom of the original antenna inside the case? I would sure try it on my foamies first.

rc4stroker,

Have you already seen the semi-permanent Spektrum module thread?:
http://www.runryder.com/helicopter/t346700p1/
There are some photos there and in the rgroups thread for ideas on adapting the JR 10 series.

Regards,
Rick

Thanks RJ, I followed it to your other post.
I knew we had one here somewhere?
I got some Ideas by PM from Paul Beard that may work also.
