What is meant by a floating flybar? Anyone feel like explaining it? I can't tell from the pictures.

Hi all. My R5 Nova will likely be the first in North America and is scheduled to deliver next Wednesday 5 December 2007 via DHL Express. I will do a build thread on another forum for those that are interested. Personally I have not been this excited about a new heli since I bought my first MiniCopter Joker. I have the R5 Nova instruction manual and this is the slickest package I have seen and I've seen and own many (too many )My review kit has been fully funded out of my own pocket. I can't wait. Thanks to Martin, Lukas and Fabien (e-Copter) for allowing me to intro this heli to this hemisphere. My digi camera and keyboard are on standby just waiting for the yellow and red delivery lorry to appear. Stay tuned.

Cheers - Boyd

That thing looks so cool

What material are the transmission gears made of? It looks enclosed / maybe lubricated?

Boyd I am pumped to see your thread on this. I am sure this is your billionth heli so it will be neat to hear what your thoughts are on it.

Does it come with the orchestra to play that song while I'm flying?

Nice timing on the tic-tocs!

Great looking heli, can't wait for the review!

Whooooo this put abit of a dagger in the ol' heart though, just under a grand with no electronics, abit pricey for a 350mm bladed machine.

It makes sense... the Duzi is one duzi of a price Maybe the price isn't accurate yet for some reason though. I would find it hard to believe they would charge that much.

I know- it's great stuff! Just a shock and a bummer at $900-odd bucks.

Nope. That what it cost guys. If you want a Duzi, ur gonna have to pay big bucks to get one.

At that price of $900, it will never be a hit in the U.S. Market, except for a few millionaires who will buy anything anyways.

Price needs to at least come down to around $500 U.S. Dollars, and thats with Motor and ESC if its to be affordable to most hobbiest.

Duzi has a rep for producing top notch aftermarket parts so this will be the best of the best. Can't wait to see the verdict is on this heli.

Well for the record I have no doubt this will be a superb little heli of great quality. That was never in question, I was abit suprised of the price being that high though.

Agreed. The price was a shocker to me also. Hopefully the price will come down a bit.
