I have a Raptor 50 v1 that i have replaced the frame with the v2. The top starter shaft bearing does not seem to fit correctly into the frame. How do i fix this? Or if i leave it is it going to hurt any thing? When i tighten up the frame there is about 1/16 of an inch gap. ANy help would be appreciated. Also the fuel tank does not fit does it need to be replaced with the v2 tank?
Thanks

The top starter shaft bearings are different, so are the starter shaft and clutch bell. The top starter shaft bearing on the v1 has a smaller i.d. and larger o.d. than the v2 one if I remember correctly.

The fuel tanks are also different, same 330cc tank, but the v1 are slim and long while the v2 is wide and short.

Not to be rude, but you have all the input you need.

Looks like you have the wrong bearing. You can go to http://www.raptortechnique.com/manual/index.html
and download the build manuals for both the V1 and the V2. Check the parts listing and compare p/n's. I have had both the V1 and V2 and the starter shaft and bearings ARE different sizes. Hope this helps ya.

You could use the V2 top bearing on the V-1 start shaft to fit into the V-2 frames but the inner race needs to be bushed out to fit the smaller V-1 start shaft OD. Maybe you could find a bearing at Boca or elsewhere with the V-2 OD and V-1 ID with same thickness.Other than that you need V-2 clutch bell,V-2 clutch, V-2 start shaft, V-2hex coupler, V-2pinion, and V-2 clutch bell inner bearing.

V-2 top start shaft bearing 6x15x5
V-1 top start shaft bearing 5x16x5
