Which battery connectors is everyone using for the high MAH batteries with large leads? I have some 6S5k Air Thunder packs for my 600 i soldered on Deans Ultra's but i really don't like soldering those big leads on to the small Dean's tabs. So iwas wondering what everyone is using?

Only other ones I know of Mike are the sermos connector or the (Mutiplex high power connector on this one you would soldier to 3 plugs on each side) It would be nice to know if they are any better than the deans though.

the new FP, and TP packs are 10 gauge I do believe, and we would need up to 85-110 amp in some cases..

Here something I located on the connector issue they have a Anderson Power pole that is rated for 180 amps and less depending on the size you choose may be the ticket for a high amp connector.

I think you'll find most people use Deans Ultra. I'm using Deans Ultras on my 10s setups. No problems.

It also makes life easier charging because you don't need extra connectors.

I am using the Deans too (6S setup like yours), and they seem to be working fine. Tin the ends of the wire, then trim/grind it to shape to fit the tab on the connector.

I have not found that the connectors are at all warm after a flight (motor and lipo are though!), so I choose to believe that there is not a lot of resistence/loss with the Deans. Note- I said that I choose to believe its so.

However It would be interesting to test a connector designed specifically to carry 100+ amps, and see if there is more power apparent during flight.

10S setups need less current (smaller mAh packs get same flight times), so the connector is actually less critical, I think.

Never, ever, ever, ever give up.
