My 600N comes on and off the gov randomly usually on the order of several seconds... I don't think it's a settings issue. I have another GV-1 and when swapping, the problem persist, suggesting a sensor issue. The sensor reads 97% on the bench. This is not a bogging issue, as the heli will do this while just light on the skids (just over 1/2 stick with a linear curve). So...

1 - possibly because my one way is locked up? (i'm getting a replacement)
2 - is fan warping/deforming and sensor not sensing? (i'm replacing with a metal fan)
3 - is sensor intermittently failing? (I don't want to buy a $43 sensor if mine is OK)

Engine is dialed in (not to rich).... Anything else to check? I wish you didn't have to do a complete break down to change out the sensor....

It's a 9252... same as on a Raptor 50 I have with no problems... Good thought, though.

Yes, I am getting the same on my MultiGov. It only started happening once my one way locked too. It's like the 'wah-wahs'. It's likely your one way slipping fractionally with the gov trying to compensate...

BTW - it's probably not a fan flex issue as my fan is metal and I still get it...

Thanks, Jason

I'll not drop the engine and d*ck with the sensor until I've done the relative easy task of changing out the one way with the Align
"New Main Gear Case Set" with "New design of one-way bearing for preventing locking." -bastards...

Happy to help mate. Yup, the one-way issue sucks but is relatively minor compared to the way this thing flies! Incredible is a word that comes to mind....

So does anyone reading this thread have a 600N with GV-1 and locked up one-way that otherwise is working fine? THAT could shoot down #1 being the culprit!

I had a locked up one-way on my 600N and my GV1 was still rocking.

It's the fan

There are multiple failure modes of the one way. Sometimes they slip after locking up sometiems they don't. I have the metal fan and mine started surging ONLY after the one way locked up. My money is on the one way...

BTW - I have a mate with a Raptor 50 and his GV-1 would surge when his one-way locked up too. Nore more lock no more surge...

What are your atv/end points for your throttle servo? Many gov's require you be up in the 100/90 range for them to operate correctly.

A friend of mine had a similar issue with his GV-1 and it turned out to be vibration getting to the GV-1 control unit. He re-balanced his fan assembly and insulated the unit better and it was then fine.

OK threadjackers, let's get this train back on track...

So I unlocked the locked up one way and hovered, periodically checking the one way to make sure things stayed free. STILL comes off the gov!!

OK so fan is the next thing to check. I've got an align metal fan that I'll install this weekend. Stay tuned....
