How do you effectively measure your cyclic throws? I heard not to exceed 8 degrees on Elev / Aler.

I have one. I guess you clip it on the paddles and use the mains for a level?

Try a search on cyclic throws. It's been asked many times. No you don't put it on the paddles.

On the blades. zero degrees pitch/half stick the full AIL and check it both directions. Then check ELE, go both ways.

More detail if you do a search.

Blades running front to back, zero pitch, full left aile, measure degree against flybar. this is left cyclic throw. repeat for right cyclic.

Blades running left right, zero pitch, full foreward elevator, measure degree against flybar, repeat for back elevator.

Hell... I can fix that.

You shouldn't it's very good question. That's why so many people ask it.

At 8 degrees my swash almost binds. I can imagine when disc is loaded it just might bind at 8 degrees. I changed to 6.5-7 degrees.

It will be more responsive anyway, I was running 5 degrees.

I set mine to +-10 cyclic and the heli was way too fast with the Stubs. Binding, what's that? Oh, now there is a little mark on the top of the swash!
