hi all,
I have a blade cp pro with an e-flite 9 gram gyro and the ar6100 rx. Is there any problems if i mount the gyro against the stock 3 in 1 unit and then mount the rx on top of that? Or should i mount the gyro behind the rear servos.?????????????

the only thing to worry about is to keep gyro away from motor as this can induce glitches.

mount where it will be protected the most in case of a crash

Best of luck!

actually I was not referring to heat.

a motor that gets too hot is another issue.

but you got the message either way...and remember to take a photo before its maiden flight...perhaps you will never find out why.

thanks for the advive guys. the ledge was my first choice (as per the manual) then i read an artical in rc heli ,"blade cp pro with john adams", may 2007 issue, page 105. in the pictures you can clearly see the gyro mounted to the back of the 3 in 1 unit, with the rx neatly mounted on top. this is were i came up with this set up. the blade in the artical has a few other mods, dd tail motor, shortened tail boom, brushless etc. i thought perhaps this might help keep the wireing neater and safer??? i intend to listen to the advice given here, but first i think my 3 in 1 unit might be bad! when i replace it i will re-mount the gyro.

THANKS AGAIN
JAIMS
