raptorheli2 rrElite Veteran rip off britain and no changing it | had/have both and the trex nitro is a better heli. lighter, more agile, parts are cheaper for most part and ccpm...ticks most of the boxes altough there will always be room for a raptor in the market but maybe people are fed up with a decal change.cheers

raptorheli2 rrElite Veteran rip off britain and no changing it | yes the pros make anything look good but there is always benefit to joe bloggs with better gear. you might not be able to get to the same level of performance but it will make what you already do easier.cheers

legoman67 rrElite Veteran Nanoose Bay B.C, Canada | i think people just want change, i would have bought a 600 if they werent known for self destructing on crash.

RAK402 rrElite Veteran Alhambra, CA | I have been flying a Raptor 50 for a short while now, and I really like it. It is smooth and predictable. That being said, I flew a well set up TREX 600N about a month ago and was very impressed. As someone mentioned above, it is lighter and more agile and you can certainly feel it when you fly it.I will not be selling my Raptor but, at some point in the future, I will probably obtain a TREX 600 (after they correct some of the early teething issues that have been mentioned on these forums).

Rockohaulic rrElite Veteran Canyon Country, CA, USA, 3rd Rock from the Sun | I had a Raptor 50 and a Trex 600N Pro. You can definately tell a difference between the two. The Trex 600N is more precise, it doesn't pitch in FFF like the Raptor, and it autos better. The parts quality on the Trex is a step up too. However, I personally do not think they are night and day different. The Raptor was a ton of fun to fly. At my skill level, I can honestly say that both heli's are fun, with the edge going to the Trex 600N.So why did I sell my Raptor 50? Well, I crashed it one weekend after flying both heli's, and went to the LHS simply to get the parts to fix it. They happened to have a Trex 600N Sport just sitting there up high on the shelf, and I made the mistake of asking to look in the box!All those beautifull, shiney new parts! They gave me a steal of a deal! You know, an offer I couldn't refuse! So I bought it, moved over all the components and electronics from the Raptor, and sold the Raptor frame. With the money I got from the frame, and the Kasama head, and some spare parts I had, I more than paid for my new toy!!Now I have 2 awesome flyiing helis, and I only have to keep spares for one brand.Saturday morning I flew my helicopter in my pajamas

JeepCJ rrKey Veteran Pennellville NY (Syracuse Heli Group) | I think there is a difference in the way they fly. I owned R50's for years, and would never go back now. My 600N is a little more than
I have had two bad crashes, and it did not self-destruct either time.

JAGNZ rrProfessor Auckland, New Zealand | My R50 is for sale right now after flying my 600N. I have 2 600N's and they ARE that much better IMO - for the flying I do.

JAGNZ rrProfessor Auckland, New Zealand | Yeah but the others you mention are 90's - this is the first truly high performance 50 - ever. There is nothing out that is even close IMO. Not that I've flown them all but there are a few that have and they agree for the most part.
