Anyone have good working CSM 720 gyro on your T-rex, setup for 3D flight?

What settings are you using?
What gain are you running?

Main thing is run an arm, 15mm.
set acceleration gain on mode1 to 140

SHould hold pretty well at that.

Hard mount btw, the metal plate and 2 futaba foam pads.

Thanks.

Yeah, I noticed the stiffer mount needed, thought heli would explode when I did a roll today

Servo horn on the N needs to be a bit shorter than most folk are used to.

I've been running my 720's in out of the box settings at 13.5mm horn length with good effect. Gain is 70%ish on the standard mount on the back with a 2100 HS.

If your looking to get the best out of this combo.. suggest you dump the metal plate and mount it more firmly.

As an experiment today I tried a 12mm arm and mounted it on one layer of 2mm tape. (Futaba 'Nitto' tape) This easily allowed gain settings as high as the 100% mark.

I will be going back to the 13.5mm horn and aiming for about 85% as I am pretty sure it's about optimium without overstressing the servo.

No.. no need for the Filter. It actually seems remarkably tolerant to vibes.

If you go too hard on the mounting you usually see this as drifting. If it's to soft you are prone to low freq vibes wobble from inflight and rotor vibration
