Wow! 12 flights on the black align dampers and they are very badly worn, I doubt if I will get more than 2 or 3 flights out of them.
First 3 flights where mostly hovering, the 9 were 3d flights @ 2050 HS.

How long are others lasting? What HS? 3d?

I know Infinavation Dampeners but I am having a hard time finding them anyone know any places to get them?

Cheers, Mark M.

You could try the new 90 duro dampers (HN6061 and HN6067) that align came out with. They are a lot stiffer and also have a sleeve for the spindle like the Synergy and MA machines.

I was doing about 20 flights before I changed to these. So far they have been working great at 2100.

i'm running infin dampers in my nitro now and so far so good. the std ones don't last long as people are aware so the infi ones have been a sound choice so far. i run metal grips and it doesn't nod which is surprising.

worth a look if your needing dampers.

cheers

Infinavations here also. Better performance, both cyclic and collective improves.... Don't know about durability yet. Only 5 flights so far.... I could only get 6 flights on the stock Aligns, after that it sucks..... I hpe this Infis would last longer.... It's $17 a pop ......

That is why the 90 align ones are nice still only $4 and they seem to last and are much better than the 80s. I think you need both intially since I do not know what the duro the dampers are that are included with the sleeve. RChover.com had a few the last time I was there. Give them a call.

The bearings dig into the plastic grips, make the head loose, and trash the dampers. I've added aluminum grips with stock black dampers and have flown a few gallons through and the head stays tight.

George0079,
Thanks I got the dampers from trex.com. They had them in stock. I ordered two sets of dampers and two sets of dampers with sleeve. Now I need another set of metal blade grips......
