Due too a recent accident I need to replace a few part's in one of my tail rotors. After pulling prints, and researching all web sources now I'm really baffeled on my output shaft and a new hub I'd like to replace in a plain MA plastic gear box.

Here goes' hope some one know's how to chase the correct replacement hub number

Need:
MA 0429 output shaft it's pretty standard and basic.

Bird currently has a solid hub which may be tweaked from accident.

Wanted to switch to a up dated dampened hub MA 0446-1 : shown on my prints : " It's a old #" I run one on my other gasser and I like it.

" # is missing on all suppliers web's" " vanishes with no crosses"

Chasing #'s and same bearing sizes lead me too a MA 0541-7 which I believe is back to a solid hub !

Chasing this MA 0541-7 number with it's bearing sizes --

Ref's me back to a MA # 120-58 ??

Which I have no clue if it's a solid or dampened or if it will fit the standard MA 0429 basic output shaft

I just want a hub

Gosh golly : I just want to swap out an out put shaft on a standand plastic gear box case and toss a suspcious hub, with a wee up grade.

Hub's, Hub's, Hub's - Whos's the prophet in the land on the Hub's and their number's ????

Some one please throw me a rope Save me ! Or else I may use it for a unentended purpose - in that case just drive me over to the bridge !!!

First photo is the dampened hub - last photo solid hub
More diggin !

MA 120-38

or

MA 120-56

or

MA 120-58

or

MA 122-65 " say's need to swap bearings to a 5mm X 10" X what mm?? thick ????

Theirs one more but's it for the Razor

MA numbers

I wish MA would upgrade there parts list showing what replaces what.
120-38 Hub only (small hole)
122-38 Heavy duty hub (small hole) with 4 mm nuts, aparently replaced by 122-65 and is same as.

120-56 is hub 120-38 and includes bearings and nuts.

120-58 This seems to be the same as 120-38, 122-65.

122-65 is(replacement adjustable tension tail rotor hub) with 4 mm nuts, bearings are 5 x 10 x 4

The old hub with the large hole, and had a piece of silicone in it, I dont know what the number is but I dont think they are made anymore.
