I've just changed the reciever over from a 138DF to the above setup to gain PCM, and noticed that when I turn on the electrics when the gyro is calibrating the servo now makes more noise than it used to, but once I move the rudder stick slightly its fine, I did fly it and it was fine, and I know digitals are noisy, but its increased the noise level.

Do I need to be concerned with this, has anyone else had anything like this?

The reason for the increased noise is this...

For what ever reason, the servo is resting at a peak in its pulse cycle. When you move the stick, are bringing it back to a null point in the pulse cycle and the noise goes away.

All digital servos do this, but it seems like the high res servos like the 6965, 8700/8900, and the futaba tail servos are the worst for it. There is nothing wrong with the servo, they just happen to be a little louder than the rest.
