I just got my new airthunder 5000 Mah pack, while balance charging with my TP210 balncer I get a solid yellow led and repetitive tones every 5 seconds, after charging, and when disconected from the charger I get the normaL "IN BALANCE" SIGNALS AND AFTER THET i GET THE SOLID YELLOW LED AND THE REPETITIVE tones, what does this mean? the instructions don`t mention this.

Thanks

I think for you to use that balancer with it the 1010 charger it needs to be blanced on its own and not while charging .

I think the yellow light menas to high a battry voltage , thats because the balancer does not know its connected to a charger and the charge voltage is always higher than the lipo voltage.

Balance your lipo before and then may be after charging , if it takes alot of balancing after charging then you will need to charge again to top up the battery.

Got to disagree there.
The 1010C and 210V balancer are designed to work together.
The 210V comunicates via a data cable to the charger ensuring there is no risk of charging if a cell goes overvoltage or the pack goes to far out of balance.
I have used my 2 together to charge at more than 1C (actualy 5.5amps on a 4900 pack) and the balancer only gives error mesages when there is a problem with the pack. It has nothing to do with charging and balancing at the same time.
According to the 210V manual:-
Yellow on all the time means the pack is still slightly imbalanced, but under 0.03V per cell. you will get it bleeping at you here but its normally to let you know its finished balancing.
Thats my take on it

Im not using the TP charger, its an TME Extrema charger, Im connecting the battery to the charger through the red and black leads, the balancer through the balnce conectors.

OK, my mistake.
However, with the way you have it set up, it should still be able to balance while charging.
Is the tone the balancer makes 3 notes falling (if that makes sense) and then repeated several times ?
If it is, that is normal. Mine does it to let me know its finished balancing. It sometimes does it several times, as the balancer momentarily sees the process finished, gives the signal tone, then kicks back in because it re assesses the battery and sees a small imbalance.

Yep, thats correct, three tones falling and solid yellow is what I'm getting.
Where did you get that info? it's not in the manual is it? maybe I overlooked it. Is it me or do the instructions really suck?

Thats what I meant !! it needs to be connected to a 1010c charger , sorry ive been drinking tonight .lol

That will be his problem as the balancer is does not realise its being charged .

http://thunderpowerrc.com/PDF/TP210V%20Manual.pdf

bottom of page 1 is a box with the light code in it.
The bleep code is from my personal experience.
Hope this helps
