I just installed them on my JR servos (4131 Analog). The flange rubs agains the servo case when I tighten the output arm screw. So much so that the servo wheel was quite difficult to move. I needed to file them down slightly in order to eliminate the rubbing. Does this problem exist with the newer JR servos?

They do however make for the perfect geometery, not that you can't get the same from the large output wheels. Just makes the job much easier.

I agree they are superb. Make it easier that's for sure. No drilling, etc.

The Align Servos for Hitec do not fit the karbonite gears

We tried and ordered some for one of my costumers and the Hitec Arms feel loose in the karbonite gear. I use the JR arms and they are a marvel.

The Align servo horns fit my Hitec 6965`s ok.
They are a bit loose when you push them on but the hitec ones are overly tight in my opinion.Once you puy the screrw into the Align horn and servo output things should be ok.OR at least i hope so.

What I meant is that the JR horns work perfectly with my DS8717,

but when we where building a trex with the hitec servos the horns seemed loose, and my friend told me that it was not worth the risk, even when tightening the horns with the screw, to fly with those horns, so he just installed the stock horns that came with the servos. Go ahead and try them out and see how they work. And let us all know so that I can tell the guys here with the Algin Servo Horns your experience. I on a personal basis would not use them if they are not a tight fit, wouldn't want to risk needing a full collective and the horns slipping out and you know what happens next...

Will do rbove1977. U r right though, if they r not a tight fit it wouldn't make sense to take a risk with them.

They are not exactly loose. They push on easy BUT on mine there is no slop or play if you twist on the output shaft. The hitec horns are very tight to push on AND get off.much tighter than futaba.

JR, Hitec, and Futaba all have different size splines... The hitec may seem that it fits. But trust me, it does not !!! It will strip out Very soon and your heli will crash... Almost guaranteed.
600rr which horn are you using on what servos?

They do fit however, there is a lot of play with the Align Hitec wheels. There was too much for me to use them in my lastest 600n build. I have used the Align JR ones and they seems alot better than the Hitec ones from Align.

Thanks.
