Hi, I't seems a common thing to lose thumb screws, I know our model field has a stash somewhere especially the one from the exhaust side. Anyway a cheap fix is to add a small brass sleeve about 2mm and glue in position. I use these in conjunction with the harder Knight rubbers and haven't lost a Thumb Screw since and at £8 for 2 that's a welcome saving.

Sorry I don't Boogie it's the best I can do off my mobile. All I did was get a brass tube from my local store that is slightly larger diameter than the bolt. Cut in to 2mm pieces. Slide down to touch the protusion on the Thumb screw and secure with a dab of epoxy, and that's it.
