says to use z-43 blue loctite, ive always used z-42 blue loctite is that the same thing? thanks guys, getting confused here :P

242 is medium strength blue

243 is medium strength blue but oil resistant according to the info I just found on Loctite's website

If you cleant he threads on your bolts first 242 will work just fine, I typically use 91% alchol in a small dish and clean the threads for a new build, then just a dab if I have to take something apart as there typically isn't an oily residue inside once secured.

thats surprising because i would think all loctite would need to/want to be oil resistant? hmmm...i just used z-42 loctite on the pices last nite...wonder if i should redo it, any thoughts?
