For that price, I dont know what is the best. But if you want to be able to monitor voltage, balance, and view mah input after charge. And also be able to discharge and charge to 50% for storage, the TP1010 and 210 balancer is the best choice in my opinion. This way you will be able to take the best care of your batteries.
This setup is around 300.00 But a wise 300.00 spent.

Thanks HHawk

I had TP 205 balancer and Titanium charger as in the link below:
http://www.rcandme.com/catalog/prod...roducts_id=1801

I would like to spend 150$ to upgrade charger and power supply

TP 1010 charger need external power supply.

Somebody told me 25 A power supply would cost 99$ @ radioshark.

So the total will be 300$.

What powersupply would you use with TP? Does it need 25A powersupply?

you only need a 15 amp and thats only if your charging 6s. With 3s you could get by with a 6 amp power supply.
But if you ever decide to get a bigger heli, yes you would be best with a 25amp power supply.

That charger you have linked is one I havent heard of from a shop I havent heard of either.
You might check out the Cellpro, Its getting ok reviews and might be cheaper than the TP1010. Here is the link to get you started.

I have the 4S charger from FMA, and it works great. Tells me everything I need to know when charging. It also saved one of my packs when the ESC I had didnt have lipo cutoff turned on. I think its the only charger I know of that can do this. It also states in their instructions that you can charge warm lipos. I bought this unit mostly because of price, but the features you get with it are worth every penny spent.

I totally agree, I bought a second fma cellpro 4s charger because I liked the first one so much, and this is comming from a guy who owns a tp1010 & 205. Yes the price for what you get is amazing. It is a charger and balancer all in one. I really like how it charge/balances, some chargers like my tp1010 discharges to balance.
Here is a link for you!

I'd recommend either the Triton 2 (it charges everything), the Astro 109 and the TP 1010. The TP 1010 is out of your price range. However, the Astro is a good deal for about 100 bucks as is the Triton 2. You'll have to buy an extra balancer. I've got a hyperion, TP 210 and a blinky balancer. They all work. The 210 is probably the best one but the others work well too. With the Hyperion, you can charge through the balancer where the TP and Blinky, you charge with but not through the balancer.

With $150, I'd get TWO FMA Cellpros. They are great chargers for your TP packs. I used to think one charger was enough, but just think about how long it will take to charge those 5 packs. Since you don't want to walk away from a lipo during charging, reduced charge time is a big deal (to me anyway).

I second the FMA charger. I ended up getting a second one as well. It saved my one pack that had gotten down to 1.75 volt, (left it plugged into the heli after flying...).
