Well i can happily be added to the Synergy owners list since i got a smoking deal on a new one and i couldn't pass it up. I have been wanting one for a while but i really wasn't ready for the expense of another 90 machine after just getting my Evo 90 going a little bit ago. I am nowhere close to being able to fly this one like it is meant to me but at least it will be here when i do make it to that level. I got the heli and a YS .91SR setup and now i just have to build it and spend more $$$ to get it in the air.

I seen someone ask in another post about the serial number issue if it meant anything specific or how old it is. I haven't located the # on mine yet to see if it is an older kit or a recent one. Where can i find out the # and how old it is?

I am going to check out the Synergy site for the build tips while i put her together but is there anything else i need to know that isn't in the book or on the site?

I will be getting a Hyperhub headed my way next week for sure. Is there any other upgrade that i should do while it is still being born so save some teardown time later?

Has anyone used the Logitech gyro setup on this bird and how does it do. I have a 611 on my Evo and like it (for what normal flying i can do) but was curious how the others perform. I am using a JR 9303 and am considering the new JR combo that is out also to keep it all matching.

That is enough for now, i am sure i will have more later. Thanks for any advice you guys can give me.

For basic hyper parts I'd suggest the collar. Makes pulling the main shaft easier. Look into the SB-19 for an exhaust. I'm using it in both my N9's and love the power.

Check out my gallery for N9 building tips.

Welcome aboard.

MIke F.,

I have read a little of your post about trying the 770 gyro in your heli and looks like it is a great unit. I am using a 9303, what radio are you using? I just got the 770/8900 setup today and will be putting it in sometime this week. I like the 611's i have but i want to try and stay all JR.
What is the parts supply like for these. The local shop i go to said something about the UK dist. losing them and that parts may be hard to get. I don't plan on tearing it up yet, i can't do any 3D to hurt anything yet. I am still at the loop and roll level.

That LHS is out of it? You're in TN, right? So what does parts supply in the UK have to with anything? I just got some tail grips for mine. Ricks was out so I ordered them from tammies. So far the only parts that I've needed were from me tightening the balls to much and cracking a bellcrank and tail grip. I was able to get both parts very easily.

I am in TN, Nash. to be exact. The LHS for me doesn't carry Synergy parts. We were just talking about them today and he said it might be an issue with parts. He is a very reputable shop and has been in the business/hobby for quite a while and has not steered me wrong yet. I get all my Evo parts and fuel from him, it is worth my 1 hour drive. I haven't looked anywhere for any parts yet but i am sure i will not have a problem finding suppliers. I may need a fan shroud, this one is rubbing and it looks like the top of it a little concave for some reason. I have it apart now checking it over but i am going to wait on putting it back on to check it until i get the Hyperhub. Hopefully i can get one on the way and it be here next week.
